The YDRF Points Programme rewards students, alumni, parents and well-wishers who help the Foundation grow — by referring new learners, promoting YDRF online, and contributing knowledge content. Points are earned through verified activities and may be redeemed against the rewards listed in the YDRF Rewards Catalogue. Participation is voluntary and free of cost.
Eligibility
- Open to all registered YDRF students, alumni, parents, staff-nominated volunteers and School Brand Ambassadors.
- Participants must be 14 years of age or above. Participants below 18 years require a signed parent/guardian consent form on record.
- Each participant is allowed one YDRF Points account only, linked to a single YDRF ID, mobile number and email address.
- Every participant must quote their YDRF ID in all claims and correspondence. Participants who do not yet have a YDRF ID must obtain one from the YDRF office before claiming points.
- YDRF full-time employees and their immediate family members may take part in engagement activities but are not eligible for referral points.
A. Course & Programme Referrals
| Activity | Points |
|---|---|
| Refer a friend who enrols in the BCC Course | 50 |
| Refer a friend who enrols in the CCC Course | 100 |
| Refer a friend who enrols in the O Level Course | 350 |
| Refer a friend who joins an Internship Programme | 200 |
Referral conditions
- The referred person must be a new learner, not previously registered with YDRF.
- The referrer's YDRF ID, name and mobile number must be entered in the “Referred By” field at the time of admission. Claims raised after admission is completed will not be accepted.
- Points are credited only after the referred learner completes admission formalities and pays the applicable fee.
- If the referred learner withdraws or the admission is cancelled within the refund window, the points are reversed.
- Where two or more people claim the same referral, the name recorded on the admission form shall prevail.
B. Digital Engagement
| Activity | Points | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Write a genuine Google Review for YDRF | 5 | Once |

Engagement conditions
- A clear screenshot of the completed activity must accompany the claim email.
- Reviews must be written by the participant in their own words and must remain published for at least 90 days. Reviews that are deleted or shortened within this period will have their points reversed.
- YDRF does not require, request or reward any particular star rating. Honest feedback is welcome; fabricated or misleading reviews will be rejected outright.
- For Item 9, only invitations accepted by the invitee are counted. Invitations sent to fake, duplicate or inactive accounts do not count.
- Unfollowing, unsubscribing or unliking within 90 days will result in reversal of the related points.
C. Content & Contribution

|---|---|---|

| Record a YouTube Knowledge Session video, published on the YDRF website | 350 | Per accepted video |
Contribution conditions
- All content must be original, created by the participant, and free of copyrighted music, footage or third-party material.
- By submitting, the participant grants YDRF a perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish, edit and promote the content on its website, YouTube channel and social media.
- Feedback videos must run 60–180 seconds, in Hindi or English, with clear audio, and must reflect the participant's honest experience.
- Mini Projects must include a working model or demo, a brief report and the source files. Points are credited only after the YDRF Technical Committee accepts the project. Rejected or previously submitted projects earn no points.
- Knowledge Session videos must be 10 minutes or longer, on a topic approved in advance by YDRF, and must meet the published quality checklist. Points are credited once the video goes live on the YDRF website.
- Brand Ambassador points are credited on forms that are sold, submitted and for which payment has been realised. Unsold or returned forms earn no points.
This catalogue is indicative. YDRF may add further earning activities from time to time; all such additions will be announced on the official YDRF website and Facebook page.

Redemption
Points may be redeemed against the rewards listed in the YDRF Rewards Catalogue — fee concessions, certification vouchers, YDRF merchandise, workshop passes and similar benefits.
- The minimum redemption threshold is 10 points. Balances below 10 points cannot be redeemed but continue to accumulate.
- Redemption requests are to be sent to info@ydrfoundation.in with ydrfoundation@gmail.com in CC, quoting the participant's YDRF ID.
- Rewards are subject to availability. YDRF may offer an alternative reward of equivalent value where an item is out of stock.
- Points carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
General Rules
- Validity: Points expire 12 months from the date of credit unless redeemed.
- Non-transferable: Points cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, gifted or exchanged for cash.
- No back-dating: Only activities completed on or after the programme launch date qualify.
- Monthly approval limit: YDRF approves a maximum of 2,000 points per calendar month across the programme as a whole — see below for how this limit is applied.
- Account accuracy: Participants are responsible for keeping their YDRF ID, mobile number and email address updated with the office. YDRF is not liable for rewards missed on account of outdated contact details.
- Statements: A participant may request a points statement at any time by writing to info@ydrfoundation.in with ydrfoundation@gmail.com in CC, quoting their YDRF ID.
How the 2,000-point monthly limit works
- The limit applies to the total points approved by YDRF in a calendar month, counted across all participants and all activities. It is not a per-participant allowance.
- Verified claims are approved in the order in which they are received, by the date and time of the claim email.
- Once 2,000 points have been approved in a month, any remaining verified claims are carried forward to the following month and approved on priority, ahead of fresh claims received in that month.
- No valid claim is rejected because of this limit — it is only deferred. Participants whose claims are carried forward will be informed by email.
- The 15-day deadline applies to submission of the claim, not to its approval. A claim sent within the deadline does not lapse on account of the monthly limit.
- Points are credited on the date of approval, and the 12-month validity period is counted from that date.
- YDRF may revise the monthly limit at its discretion by publishing a notice on the official YDRF website.
Fair Use and Disqualification
YDRF reserves the right to withhold, reverse or cancel points, and to suspend or terminate a YDRF Points account, where it finds any of the following:
- Fake, duplicate or automated accounts used for likes, invitations, subscriptions or reviews.
- Self-referral, or referral of existing YDRF learners presented as new admissions.
- Fabricated screenshots or manipulated proof of any kind.
- Plagiarised project work or content not created by the participant.
- Any misrepresentation of YDRF, its courses, fees, certifications or placement outcomes while promoting the Foundation.
The decision of the YDRF Points Committee in all such matters shall be final and binding on the participant.
Amendments
YDRF may modify, suspend or withdraw this programme, or revise point values, earning activities and rules, at any time. Changes take effect from the date on which they are published on the official YDRF website. Continued participation in the programme after such publication shall be deemed acceptance of the revised rules.
