Mahila E-Haat is the online marketing platform for women where they can showcase their product and sales online. This program started by Indian Government under “Digital India” and “Standup India”.It was started on 7th march 2016 by the Ministry of Women and child development, the government of India under Rashtriya MahilaKosh(RMK). The program is for women across the country as a part of Digital India. It is the platform to sell online goods and products.

YDR Foundation volunteers works with underprivileged women and help them by providing all the assistance so they can successfully use this portal and get benefited by Mahila e-haat platform.

How Yamuna Digital Research Foundation team helps:

AIM of Mahila-E Haat portal:

Aim to provide a web-based marketing platform for the women entrepreneur to directly sell to buyers. And also, it is an initiative to empower women in the business area.

Features of the platform

1. Providing the opportunity for women entrepreneurs to leverage technology for showcasing products made/manufactured/ sold by them.
2. E- Haat requires a mobile number only, as the entire business of E-Haat can be handled through a mobile by the producer.
3. Also help women to showcase their skills and creative thinking.
4. The buyer will have the option to approach the seller physically, telephonically, or through Email or any other means convenient to him/her.
5. E- Haat is a direct interface between buyer and seller, to facilitate marketing and products of women entrepreneurs.

Eligibility to Join Mahila-e-Haat :

1. Must be an Indian woman citizen.

2. Age should be more than 18 years.

3. Goods and services shown on this platform should be legal.

4. Both seller and buyer will have to identify RMK from any or all acts of transactions.

5. Product quality should be good.

6. Participant vender should furnish a minimum charge of the stamp in their state.

7. Vendors are required to maintain the details of transaction.

Mahila E-Haat is an initiative for meeting the aspirations and needs of women entrepreneurs. It is an online marketing platform for women, where participants can display their products. It is an initiative for women across the country as a part of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Stand Up India’ initiatives.

The main objective of the program is to empower women in rural areas in the fields of entrepreneurship. This is under the digital india.
